Modern aspects of complex therapy for recurrent genital herpes

Incidence of reported cases genital herpes in different countries has increased dramatically during the last years, which is essentially caused by spread asymptomatic or atypical types herpes. Frequent relapses infection are characterized changes immunological status. The authors presented article analysed findings foreign and domestic studies on treatment disease, systematized information about features antiviral chemotherapy drugs used treat- ment herpes, identified criteria for efficacy duration suppressive therapy, feasibility its combination with courses immunomodulatory drugs. summarizes authors’ own experience 50 patients, who were randomly divided into 2 groups: (active treatment) group 1 consisted 25 women received (acyclovir analogues) therapy (aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium, suppositories), (comparison) patients only. following inclusion patients: history, clinical presentation prodromal period exacerbation, no more than 48 hours after rash occurred. results evaluation effectiveness showed that vesicles disappeared crusts formed aminodihydrophthalasindione sodium active as early Day 2-5 starting treatment, while acute phase local inflammation comparison was reversed only 4-5. Complete reepitheli-alization occurred groups 6-7 treatment. At same time, PCR test did not detect HSV-2 smears 24 (96.0%) (88.0%) group. No one had any fresh rashes course drug. In addition, prolongation remission up to 5 months (up 55 days average). As can be seen from above, specific leads faster achievement effect, allows reduce frequency improves patients’ quality life.
